We are seeking a Credit and Collections Officer to join our client, an expanding business finance company in Olney.
In this role, you'll manage debtor accounts in an assigned portfolio of customers, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, resolving account queries, and managing direct debits and debt recovery.

**Responsibilities**:
The Credit and Collections Officer has an important role to play in supporting our client's business with the responsibility for:

- Outbound calls to clients, reconciliations and setting up standing orders
- Maximise aged debt collection
- Ensure customers pay to terms and chase any overdue invoices
- Process incoming funds & maintain the reconciliation of accounts
- Manage account queries to resolution
Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:
We're looking for someone who can build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of their accounts. As such you'll have:

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- The ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions
- A results-orientated attitude to work
- The ability to manage your time and work to deadlines
- The ability to manage numerous tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Patience and the ability to remain calm
- An open and enthusiastic approach whilst remaining firm and professional
Hours:
This is a full time, office-based role with flexible hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm or 8:30am - 6:00pm with a 45-minute lunch.
