Resource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Regulatory Specialist / MI Specialist to join a leading global Financial Services company in Glasgow. This role is a **12-month contract** which is an ideal opportunity for an individual to gain exposure in a fast paced and high-performance workplace.

**Department Profile**:
This position is part of the Finance Outsourcing Governance & Control (FOGC) function within the Finance Division's Global Centralized Management organization and is key to contributing to the execution the Firm's Deployment and Outsourcing strategy. This Global Finance team works closely with many levels of Management to ensure all applicable global outsourcing regulations and documentation requirements are adhered to.

With increased regulatory focus and scrutiny around Outsourcing Governance, this role will tackle a diverse set of tasks that require key skills such as strong communication, documentation and attention to detail, critical thinking, data analytics, and excellent time management in order to meet tight regulatory deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for the creation of procedures and process maps for the FOGC team, including the design, testing and implementation of the team's strategic tooling automation project; partner with Finance Technology team to help develop comprehensive, long-term solutions
- Be able to interpret and create Insightful MI from various sources and be able to present this in a view that is easily digestible. Investigating, summarising, and presenting results in a meaningful format to challenging stakeholders.
- Manage and ensure all reporting and MSS Framework master files are maintained in line with control procedures and are updated timely to ensure completeness and accuracy of population.
- Help drive process and control enhancements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of current team procedures
- Understand global regulatory requirements related to Minimum Supervision Standards (MSS) Framework over outsourced services; embed new regulations into current process
- Help design insightful and meaningful reporting decks for Global Senior stakeholder audiences on effective supervision requirements to educate them on global jurisdictional expectations
- Manage and provide timely and accurate monthly metric reporting of Finance's adherence to Minimum Supervision Standards (MSS) Framework, including issues identified and guidance on remedial actions required; communicate this information to Business Unit functional contacts; track and report progress on closing reported issues
- Partner with Global FOGC team to coordinate successful execution of ad-hoc internal and regulatory projects

**Requirements & Skills**:

- 6 years plus experience
- Business Analyst type experience with advanced Excel skills and experience within the Financial Services Industry
- Experience with process and procedure implementation
- Experience in managing change and implementation projects resulting in improvement and efficiency
- Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills with an ability to understand processes and key controls and how they could be improved
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues of all levels
- Highly numerate with an attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team
- Microsoft: Proficient in Excel including pivot tables, formulas and data manipulation, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint
