Our Dalry depot is looking to recruit an apprentice Yard/Trade Counter Assistant with immediate start. This position is for anyone aged 16 to 18 years old.

Cowal Building and Plumbing Supplies is one of the largest builders merchants in Scotland with 6 depots throughout Glasgow and the West Coast of Scotland (Dunoon, Rothesay, Balloch, Dalry, East Kilbride & Glasgow. We employ over 60 staff between all our depots.

**Trainee Yard/Trade Counter Assistant**

In this role you will work externally in the yard and occasional trade counter duties.

Your Duties will include
- Assisting with loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
- Sorting and storing stock in a safe and correct manner.
- Picking and checking orders.
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Learning how to drive our forklifts and telehandler.
- Answering telephone
- Taking payments for goods.
- Assisting Customers.
