Personal Assistant (Temp)
Contract: May 2023 (Maternity Cover)

**Salary**: £14.01 per hour
Location: Westminster, London
Hybrid setting:
This is a temporary contract role until May for a Personal Assistant role with an immediate start date (Compliance dependant) for a three-month duration maternity cover with a possible extension offering a flexible work setting and a central London location(Westminster).
Job description:
This is a hardworking, enthusiastic, and friendly team made up of colleagues with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. You will be expected to play a role in modelling these behaviours and to contribute to the hardworking and friendly team environment.The team support one another through periods of busy work, which the post holder should expect working within a busy, dynamic team, you will provide strategic support to the Deputy Director.

You will be able to further develop a good understanding of a range of issues and topics, covering a range of professions and functions. You will quickly establish good relationships with Private Office counterparts across the business and will be confidentin working directly with a range of senior leaders across Government and taking action to resolve issues on behalf of the Director. You will be self-starting, well organised and will be expected to be self-motivated, self-aware, and personally professionallyresilient.
You will be expected to organise the work of the office to best support the Deputy Director in the delivery of their priorities. You will have strong communication skills, with a proven ability to get the best out of people with differing experience and capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
" Supporting the Director, including diary management, meeting preparation and ensuring their time is prioritised effectively.
" Co-ordinating agendas and meeting rooms for team meetings, circulating background papers in advance and logging/tracking key action points.
" Administrative and other support to the wider Unit as required
" Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of senior management.
" Financial management; expenses, invoices
" Providing administrative support and technical expertise to senior leaders
" Co-ordinating and prioritising issues that require their attention and ensuring they have access to their daily schedule and associated papers on OneNote.
" Proactively Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of contacts including private offices, as well as wider colleagues, taking account of their different perspectives and concerns.
