Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team in providing an efficient and effective supplier payment mechanism and credit control function for the company. We are looking for individuals with a background in finance,preferably with experience in both Purchase Ledger and Credit Control who are a confident and capable self-starter.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

- Ensuring all supplier invoices are processed in a timely manner
- Measurement and management of creditor ageing
- Debt recovery
- Resolving supplier queries
- Opening new supplier accounts
- Processing of payments and allocation
- Preparing supplier payments on a weekly BACS run
- Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring the ledger is up to date
- Month end procedures and processes
- Bank control reconciliations
- Liaising with the Supply Chain and Procurement team
