**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal 3D Character Artist to join us in creating wonderful, entertaining games with high-end graphics. As one of the key members of the team you will be responsible for working with our creative leads and the art team to take the vision for our games from concept to completion.

Staying ahead of industry trends, you'll infuse your work with the latest techniques, resulting in top-tier assets that blend quality with performance.

Your keen eye for optimization will shine as you meticulously fine-tune art assets for use within our game engine (Unity), taking special care to balance performance and memory demands. On top of this you'll also dabble in concept artwork during pre-production phases, adding an extra layer of innovation to our projects.

**About you**:
You will have a standout portfolio that showcases your top-notch 3D and 2D skills, honing in on captivating character creations and a deep grasp of anatomy, evidencing a comprehensive command of Autodesk Maya (or similar 3D tools) and Photoshop. You will also be familiar with the opportunities and challenges of the gaming sector and be comfortable to mentor junior colleagues and peers, spreading your expertise.

As a Principal Character Artist you will also be capable of inspiring and motivating other artists, as well as mentoring in best practices, processes and procedures that relate to production.
