**Realistic Medicine - Deputy Clinical Lead**

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Deputy Clinical Lead in Realistic Medicine. Please note, this post is fixed-term for 12 months.

This post is relevant to those currently in a substantive post in NHSL, either in HSCP/primary care or acute and requires commitment for one session per week.

The post holder will be expected to deliver on the local implementation of the Chief Medical Officer’s Realistic Medicine Delivery Plan (RMDP), to meet required timescales and to align those work streams with the local Realistic Medicine Action Plan (RMAP).

The depute post will support aspects such as:

- ** Value Based Health & Care Vision**
- Lead on development of local faculty to support clinical staff on Value Based Health & care principles
- Coordinate and contribute to the development of the Scottish Atlas of Healthcare Variation and its training program.
- ** Engage with Local Clinical, Quality and Management teams**
- Demonstrate progress against key objectives.
- ** Champion Realistic Medicine locally.**
- Create the culture and conditions for RM to thrive;
- Promote the principles of Realistic Medicine and foster local champions.
- ** Research and Development for Realistic Medicine**
- Promote Research and Development relating to RM initiatives;
