**Job summary - What to expect**:
As the Quality Improver (Support) working within our Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for supporting the release of Raw Materials and the compliance and Continuous Improvement of the UKM Quality Support Functions through the use of data and trend analysis, creation of protocols and reports and by working closely with individuals who generate Quality Records.

The Quality Improver ensures high quality investigations are performed and supports the Business in being compliant and audit-ready at all times.

**Essential Functions & Accountabilities**:

- Supports the QA Cordinator for Materials in activities relating to the release of incoming raw material to ensure that appropriate QC testing is completed. Activities include:

- Receipt of raw material.
- CoA review against the appropriate testing monograph /specification.
- Liaise with analytical laboratory / materials group / warehouse in relation to FFP testing.
- Management of the QA Materials Quarantine area.
- Release of raw materials on CVM
- Management of records relating to incoming raw materials
- Supports the investigation of raw material NCRs, including any necessary communication with suppliers.
- Support the Creation of Shelf Life protocols, interim and final reports, ensure reports are compliant and completed within a timely manner
- Manage Changes using the document control and /or ECO processes.
- Perform trend analysis on data generated by Quality Support processes. Communicate trends to key stakeholders and propose further actions. Support the Compilation and distribution of QA monthly KPIs and provide Quality data to the business.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of quality and experience of working in a Quality Environment within a regulated industry.

**Experience & Education**:
Required
- GCSE educated (or equivalent) and / or relevant experience in a related field.
- Process knowledge of QA and / or Manufacturing or Distribution processes. Agile knowledge and experience.

Preferred

Knowledge of CooperVision relational database systems.
