NWLP is based on a ‘hub and spoke’ structure; The Cellular Pathology laboratory at Charing Cross is a consolidated service involving the Imperial College NHS Trust, Chelsea and Westminster & West Middlesex Hospital and The Hillingdon Trust. The majority of routine, specialist and non-urgent activity is centred at our hub site at Charing Cross Hospital operating a 37.5 hour week.

We are now offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Cellular Pathology Administrative Supervisor to join our friendly and dedicated Histopathology team at Charing Cross.

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced administrator Supervisor to support our Cellular Pathology Deaprtment and our Clinic support services.

We are looking for a highly motivated and methodical administrator who will manage lie manage the Cellular pathology Administartive team. The job will require providing secretarial support to the consultants, typing reports and preparing material for multi-disciplinary team meetings.

To have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications for data inputting designing documents and producing official letters.

You'll have excellent communication and organisational skills and be confident to make judgements unaided. You will be able to work proactively to problem solve and work on your own initiative.

NWLP Induction

The NWLP induction will run on the first Monday of each month (provided it does not fall on a bank holiday) and includes laboratory training (for relevant laboratory roles). All new staff must attend the NWLP induction during their first week with NWLP.
