Andover, United Kingdom Simplyhealth Full time

We've got an opportunity that's just come available for a Scrum Master to successfully lead a team to deliver products using agile practices ensuring the team have the tools and support to deliver in the most effective and efficient way. Your role will be to understand and continuously improve the efficiency of the team as well as make the progress of the work visible and, most importantly, lead by example to ensure an open, collaborative and, ultimately, empowered environment.

**We’re interested in what you do and how you do things, not when and where you do them. Our **‘smart worki**ng’ approach gives you the best of all worlds - working from home, in our modern offices in Hampshire or on the move. This means depending on your role, there will be opportunities to flex when and where you spend your time to perform at your very best. **For many of us this means day to day work can be handled remotely, but there will also be times when we need to come together in the office to collaborate, attend training sessions, induction, briefings and more. You might know it as flexible or hybrid working, for us it’s just another day living our best lives**

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile practices learning & iterating frequently.
- Work with the product owner to define the roadmap for any given product and help translate this into user stories.
- Undertake responsibilities such as escalating risks to the Product Owner/stakeholder relationship management (supporting the product owner) and reporting delivery progress to a wider audience.
- Prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
- Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality.
- Ensure that the output of retrospectives is owned through tangible actions and that those actions are implemented.
- Encourage a self organising culture through empowerment and team environment.
- Be t-shaped, use your knowledge and talents to help the team to deliver by morphing to other roles where appropriate.
- Coach the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and maintaining the product backlog.
- Increasing the effectiveness of Agile ceremonies, such as retrospectives and daily stand ups with the emphasis on efficiency and team engagement
- Actively seeking to learn new practices, models and skills that improve your team’s efficiency and enable them to deliver more effectively.
- Challenge in the right way where appropriate existing processes where they are slowing the team’s effectiveness or blocking the team from moving forwards.
- Pre-set video interview
- Verbal and numerical aptitude test
- Competency style interview
- Role Play
- Presentation
- Working styles questionnaire
