A job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cyber Security Programme Manager, to join a highly established organisation during a period of technical and business transformation.
**Your new role**
The Cyber Security Programme Manager will take responsibility for delivering a critical, multi-year portfolio of Cyber Security projects of varying scale and complexity to time, budget, and quality requirements. You will be responsible for project trackingand reporting, vendor management, whilst also working with BAU and Operational teams to ensure the smooth transition of security services into operational management.
You will act as the primary liaison between the internal security team and multiple global vendors of security services, whilst taking financial ownership and responsibility for the Programme budget, reporting, and forecasting budget.
This position can be based either remotely with some occasional travel to the Newport office required, or on a hybrid working set-up from their office in Newport. This role would suit a dynamic, forward-thinking individual who is keen to progress within theircareer.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- A proven track record in Project and Portfolio/Programme Management
- Proven experience of having worked as an IT Project Manager, including experience of having delivered highly regulated projects (ideally in the Utilities sector)
- Strong budget management and financial reporting skills
- Excellent MS Project and Planner skills
- Proven experience planning and scheduling projects of various complexities to agreed time, quality, and budget requirements
- Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies would be an advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Understanding of development and change methodologies such as Agile, Scrum DevOps etc
- If you have any experience of delivering Cyber Security projects this would be an advantage, although it is not essential
