**Horticulture Stock controller/ Administrator**

**Key responsibilities and duties**
- Out in the fields cyclical stock counting and updating the database with the correct counts, **please be aware this is outdoor in all weathers and is about 30% of the job.**
- Updating and inputting potting sheets
- Process invoices from suppliers for goods/services.
- Provide monthly/yearly figures to management on stock reports
- Analyse the invoices to see if what we have received matches the price from the supplier.
- Contact the suppliers for stock checks/missing paperwork as and when required.
- File paperwork and chase for any missing delivery notes and/or invoices required for month end processes.
- Maintenance of office filing processes.
- To support the online side of the business, processing customer orders and taking telesale orders, speaking on the phone with customers with Rose enquiries.
- Any other office duties as and when required.

**Requirements**:

- Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
- Computer literacy. Experience with Microsoft Office packages desirable.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to self-prioritise and ensure time-critical tasks are completed.
- Ability to assist in office monthly procedures to meet potential deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Hours**:
8am - 16.45pm Monday-Friday (30 minutes unpaid break)

- Have worked in a horticultural setting and has an understanding of plants
