Hargate Healthcare are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager for a children home in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The service is home to two young people aged 8 to 18 years' old with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
The Role of Deputy Manager
We are looking to hire a Deputy Manager to work alongside the Home Manager to deliver high standards of care, leadership, and child protection. To act as a role model, portraying a positive, professional image to build positive relationships. Supporting theHome Manager to ensure the home runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, coordinating, supervising, directing, and facilitating the team in delivering high standards of care while ensuring the children and young people receive physical, psychological, emotional,and social support.
Deputy Manager Benefits
- Up to £16 per hour working a 40-hour week (£33,280 pa)

Deputy Manager Requirements
- Hold a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People.
- Knowledge and experience gained in a supervisory role in a Children's Home
- Two years' experience working in a Children's Home
