Comprising Wirral’s only Emergency Department, it is one of the biggest and busiest acute NHS trusts in the Northwest. Providing a comprehensive range of high-quality acute care services, serving a population of about 400,000 people across Wirral, Ellesmere Port, Neston, North Wales, and the wider Northwest footprint. Based in 4 locations Arrowe Park Hospital, Clatterbridge Hospital, and Wirral Women and Children's Hospital.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Arrange the booking, reception and follow up of out-patients for any clinician in accordance with agreed requirements.
- Complete all required documentation and computer records.
- Send out correspondence and deals with all relevant enquiries form patients’ relatives,
- GPs etcbefore, during and after clinic appointments.
- Deal with any difficulties relating to the clinic, referring to a higher level if required, and makes suggestions for improvement.
- Receive and acknowledge incoming referral letters as appropriate.
- Refer letters to consultant/clinician for further advice as required.
- Book and advise patients of appointments using the Trust’s partial/fully booking protocols.

- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- System Knowledge - Cerner Millenium
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Microsoft package knowledge - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
