My client is a growing SaaS business who are looking for a QA Lead to manage a small team of 2 x QA Testers.

This is a hands-on role, you will be a mentor for the QA Testers to increase their knowledge of testing techniques, and work closely with the technical teams to ensure our products are of high quality and completed on time.

Office based role in central Bournemouth close to transport links. Long term progression and the opportunity for a hybrid office / remote working set up.

**Responsibilities**:

- QA project management and team management.
- Management of new releases and new product feature testing.
- Ensure all bugs found during testing are accurately logged.
- Organise and manage functional and regression testing of new code iterations, updating bug status and ensuring any other information is received and relayed to the Development Team as necessary.
- Update and maintain test cases and assist in test design.
- Provide support to all members of the QA team when any new methodologies are rolled out to ensure that any new testing processes are consistently understood and followed
- Evaluation and analysis of testing techniques utilised throughout QA, using software quality metrics to improve/refine any techniques where possible
- Collaborate with the Development leads in order to highlight any areas of potential risk within a product.
- Formulate strong relationships within the QA and Development teams
- Reviewing & Signing off projects for release / submission
- 2+ Years’ Experience in QA within software development or gaming industry or web development.
- Previous experience of management is required for this role.
- Experience testing across multiple platforms
- Ideally ISTQB certified but not required
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development processes, change management, and process improvement.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Experience with the Atlassian suite of apps - Jira, Confluence, Slack
- A passion for tech is an absolute must
