**Job description**:
The postholder will support the Change and Release Manager, working alongside the wider Modern Workplace and Engagement Teams to evaluate and implement collaborative cloud-based services and products, communicating updates and new releases to colleagues across the organisation. Key services and products include Microsoft Office 365 and the OutSystems development platform.

The postholder will be expected to collaborate with the Change and Release Manager to manage the Microsoft Office 365 Rapid Release process. This includes:

- Assessing new technical, functional and feature releases and evaluating potential impact to the organisation.
- Sharing information on upcoming releases with the Solutions Development, Engagement and Support Teams.
- Ensuring appropriate measures are in place to prepare for changes.
- Identifying and establishing escalation routes for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Planning, drafting, and issuing communications to users throughout the organisation.
- Any other ad hoc duties, including some project support.

**Person specification**:
The postholder will be expected to regularly monitor the Microsoft Message Centre for any releases relating to Microsoft services.

They will support the Change and Release Manager by:

- Notifying the Modern Workplace, Solutions Development, Engagement and Support Teams about changes that will impact end users.
- Reviewing the Microsoft 365 Roadmap and researching future releases in the early stages of development.
- Identifying trends to help teams plan effectively for change, maintaining the provision of a high-quality service.
- Identifying products or services not currently utilised by the organisation that could be beneficial.
- Assisting with organising meetings and issuing invitations and agendas.
- Minuting meetings, recording any actions on the tracker and monitoring these through to completion.
- Creating and maintaining accurate distribution lists for key contacts to ensure communications are sent out in a timely manner, regularly reviewing the information to account for any staffing changes.
