We are looking for a **Senior Carer for Nights **at Riverside Care Complex, Kexby, **York, YO41 5LD.**

We offer Elderly Residential Care at Derwent House and Dementia Residential Care at Riverview Lodge. We are a family run Care Home and provide a **Person Centred Care Approach**.

Role Summary:
The responsibility of a Senior Carer is to provide the highest level of support to our residents in a friendly and homely atmosphere. You will provide mentoring, training and **supervising of the care staff **on shift. Liase with family, friends and the wider **Multi Disciplinary Team** to ensure continuous care of a high standard.

Essential Criteria:

- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, currently ongoing or happy to enroll onto the course.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in care setting.
- Good communication skills.
- A strong team leader.

Desirable Criteria:

- Previous experience in a Senior role.
- Previous experience leading a team.

Full training will be provided. The Home has a proactive approach to personal development; courses and qualifications for advancement within the organisation are available. The company offer an **Employee Loyalty Scheme**, vouchers are given for no sickness, length of service, targets which are reach and covering additional shifts. Blue Light card awarded following completion of probabtion period.

All applicants will be required to complete a **DBS check** (Disclosure Barring Service) and must have at least **2 good references.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-48 per week

**Salary**: £13.02 per hour
