Our client are an established business of over 30 years who specialise in refurbishment projects such as corporate headquarters, local authorities, hospital wards and educational facilities, through to contemporary high end homes.

We are looking for a Fire Officer to join our client on construction projects. The Fire Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel on the construction site by actively monitoring, enforcing and training on fire safety regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor fire hazards and implement corrective measures to reduce fire risk
- Train personnel on fire safety regulations and ensure compliance
- Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment
- Respond to fire emergencies, including evacuating personnel and using firefighting equipment
- Prepare reports and documentation on fire incidents
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations on the construction site

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Fire Officer in a construction environment
- Excellent knowledge of fire safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- Valid certification in fire safety and trained in fire stopping, fire doors and assessing fire risk.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Uxbridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
