Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are looking for additional purchase ledger clerks with at least 1 - 2 years experience, to work in a busy department alongside a new young team of 4.
The applicants should be be responsible, confident to work independently without supervision, good with meeting deadlines and able to work in busy environment.
**PURCHASE LEDGER JOB DESCRIPTION**
The role mainly consists of (but is not limited to and ad-hock duties may be required):
- Sorting incoming mail.
- Coding invoices to the right project and cost code and checking prices using Purchase Orders/price lists.
- Input in average 250 - 300 invoices per week to the system.
- Matching invoices with delivery notes/tickets to prepare them for approval.
- Checking monthly statements to make sure that the supplier accounts are up-to-date.
- Passing approved invoices for payment.
- Assisting with preparation of monthly payment runs.
- Raising payments once approved by the directors.
- Allocation of payments, credits and amendments.
- Assisting with QS requests.
- Opening/updating suppliers accounts.
- Reception duties to cover when required.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
