**Location**: Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire

**Main duties of the role**:

- To plan, prepare and deliver a range of sessions, with guidance/instruction from Liberty Intervention and Mentoring Services Senior Service Leads.
- Working with the families to create a progress plan
- Strong teamwork with colleagues
- Offering families and parents respite
- To co-ordinate tasks for example, Session Plans, Care Plans, Risk Assessments
- To create and maintain an engaging, fun, and supportive environment, demonstrating flexibility in planning and running sessions in response to varying/changing needs of our young people and families.
- To be aware of and comply with all Liberty Intervention and Mentoring Services Policies and Procedures
- To liaise with Service Leads prior to sessions to ensure plans are appropriate
- To participate in mandatory/other training and performance management meetings as required
- To always observe confidentiality
- To be confident to undertake lone working

**Liberty Intervention and Mentoring Services complies with safer recruitment guidance, you will be expected to provide two types of I.D, professional and character references, evidence of qualifications and full employment history.**

**Person specification**:

- Willingness and motivation to learn new skills
- Experience supporting young people with additional needs
- Experience working with young people, parents and professionals (desirable)
- Personable and efficient
- Confident in lone-working
- Flexibility to work weekends
- Ability to build relationships with young people to achieve positive outcomes
- Ability to work closely with the team to ensure the service maintains impeccable standards
- Full UK Drivers License with access to own transport (essential)
- Enhanced DBS (desirable)
