Are you experienced Theatre Scrub Practitioner? Are you ready to take on the responsibility of Team Leader in our Plastics theatres at Chorley Hospital?
We are looking for Registered Nurses or Operating Department Practitioners who have substantial experience of Scrub for Plastic surgery.

Assist and support the Clinical Manager in the safe and effective management of the service
including management of staff, facilities and associated systems and processes.
Communicate all relevant information to the multidisciplinary team internally and with external organisations as required, to ensure seamless care
Acts as a role model presenting a positive image of self, the team, and the organisation.
Be responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of care, making optimal use of operating sessions. Identify potential bottlenecks and facilitate smooth patient flow through the department.
Ensure a high standard of service delivery is delivered by self and others based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care to meet patients’ needs in accordance with agreed local and National standards and evidence-based guidelines.
Set, monitor and maintain standards of care to improve the patient experience and outcome of care.
Proactively manage risk and maintain patient safety, conforming to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Communicate all relevant information to the multidisciplinary team internally and with external organisations as required, to ensure seamless care.
Promote provision of patient education and health promotion
Promote equality in care and practice by recognising, respecting, and meeting the needs and choices of individuals.
Ensures environment of care is safe, well equipped, and compliant with standards for hygiene and cleanliness.
Participate in education and training of junior staff encouraging professional growth and development.
Maintain and develop own professional competence and seek to extend the scope of personal knowledge and skills within scope of role and professional
practice.
Demonstrates and maintains competence in anaesthetic practice (ODP’s)
