The successful Conveyancing Assistant will be responsible for:

- Setting up new files accurately and speedily on instructions from fee earner.
- Drafting legal documents
- To attend to clients both on the telephone and in person.
- Recording accurately any messages and pass the same to the appropriate person without unnecessary delay.
- Assisting with processing of remortgages and working with some independence
- Arrange meetings and appointments
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all Firm and client documentation and/or information.
- Undertaking any specific training or refresher course as and when required by the Firm.
- Preparing documents, mortgage deeds and Land Registry searches through the Firm's case management system
- Preparing financial statements prior to completion.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Experience within a property department
- Strong Administrative background
- Ability to work to deadlines and guidelines
- Experience using case management system
- Excellent communication skills including attention to detail, organisation and communication
- IT literate - Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook
