Apprentice Surveyor

**About this role**
We provide valuation, property sales and letting, planning, business rates and professional advice. The role involves UK wide travel and occasional overnight stays.
As part of the team you will assist in providing property advice and undertake internet and telephone based research on properties, carry out market based research to assist in the production of sector overviews and marketing material. Maintain databases.Undertake analysis of trading businesses.
Understanding and developing report writing skills. Assist in the preparation of professional reports including valuations, rent reviews and general property consultancy. Opportunities to work alongside other Savills service lines including development andplanning.
A valid full UK driving licence and regular access to a car for business use would be desirable but not essential
**About the Team**
Savills Licensed Leisure team is a market leader in the provision of agency, investment, valuation, lease advisory and consultancy advice to the leisure market. The leisure market is a fast moving and dynamic sector with constant evolution as a result ofconsumer trends which have an impact on where we spend our leisure time and what real estate is required to meet those needs.
The team has an especially strong foothold in the public house market advising some of the largest pub companies in the UK including; Youngs, JD Wetherspoon, Greene King and also has strong relationships with smaller embryonic bar and restaurant companiesthat are seeking to grow.
**How you’ll make an impact**
The most important thing is a passion for hospitality, real estate and an interest in learning. In addition good communication, organisational and analytical skills are vital to succeed as an apprentice. You will need the ability to manage a varied workloadworking as part of a team while also having plenty of your own initiative and be passionate about delivering the best service possible for your team.
English and Maths GCSE grade 4 and above is a mandatory requirement.
**Training**
5 year training programme (Level 6 Apprentice), which entails a part time undergraduate degree apprenticeship (4 years) and APC (2 years, enrolled in year 4 of undergraduate degree) leading to RICS qualification. Full on the job training provided for allskills required.
**Career development**
We will provide the full suite of Savills training programme including mandatory health and safety and office training.
We ensure that your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is current and that all staff are fully up-to-date with changes to legislation and business needs.
