**Teaching Assistant**

Tradewind recruitment is supporting a large Secondary School in Kensington & Chelsea with their need for a general Teaching Assistant to support across ages 11-16.

This role would suit a Graduate looking to use their skills to support pupils, perhaps considering a career in teaching. You will need to be an excellent communicator and team player with a resilient and determined attitude.

**Main responsibilities are**:

- Helping the students with tasks such as literacy and numeracy.
- Providing additional support to children with special needs or international language students.
- Helping the teacher prepare for lessons e.g. setting up the classrooms.
- Encourage and support the students.
- Assist the teacher with marking and correcting the student's work.
- Help organise school trips and activities.
- Attending teacher meetings and reviews.

The school is truly an inclusive school for the community with pupils aged 11-19, providing a world class education in a state-of-the-art building. Based in Kensington & Chelsea the school has excellent transport links but no carpark for staff. This is a temp to perm role starting ASAP. The daily rate is £80-95 per day.
