**Job description**:
**Step Teachers is in partnership with a primary school located on the outskirts of Huntingdon, and are actively seeking a Full-time 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP until the end of the academic year (19th July).**:
**Position: 1-1 Teaching Assistant**

You will be working 1-1 with a year 6 pupil who needs someone to be with them, to give them some breaks and time to listen when they need to talk.

**Key Responsibilities of a 1-1 Teaching Assistant**:

- Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- Assist with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Help assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.

**Requirements of a 1-1 Teaching Assistant**:

- A minimum of 3 months of experience as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting is essential
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable
- Verifiable references from previous employers or placements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and supporting the learning journey of students.
