At Leonardo Helicopters, we have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts and Programmes - Team Leader within the Quality Systems area of the business. You will be leading a team of 3 dedicated professionals to provide support to the business on all aspects of Quality Contracts and Programmes.

The position is predominantly onsite with the occasional option to work from home and a level 6 on our Salary and Career Progression Framework.

**_ What you’ll do as a Contracts and Programmes Team Leader:_**
- Prepare quality plans, and other data item deliverables, when required by the business or customer
- Support the Programme Management Office in meeting contractual obligations regarding the timely provision of quality deliverables and be the Quality focal point within Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
- Communicate contractual quality terms to the Quality Manager (Contracts and Programmes), to ensure potential issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Communicate contractual audit requirements to the System Monitoring lead
- Maintain and communicate a clear working plan and, where appropriate, gain agreement and commitment to that plan by all stakeholders
- Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of the international quality standards, contracted by our customers.
- Manage and identify quality risks within your own area of expertise
- Conduct quality investigations as necessary
- Manage the review of processes within your own functional area, ensuring continuing adequacy in meeting business requirements and manage non-conformance
- When required, lead and participate in meetings with MoD and Milex customers and/or their authorised quality representatives to negotiate and agree specific contractual quality terms and conditions
- Plan own work and that of others, identifying critical dependencies and risks, creating implementation, mitigation and control plans and reporting status
- Develop others and take a proactive approach in personal development
- Promote and maintain the Departmental Procedures Review Process
- Responsible for carrying out internal audits in accordance with CPR.035.13 and CPR.061.14.

**_ What we need from you:_**
- Educated to NVQ L4 or degree level in a relevant discipline
- Lead Assessor qualification is desirable.
- Good interpersonal and team skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels of the organisation, customers, partners and suppliers.
- Proven experience in either Quality, Commercial or Programme environment.
- Sound business knowledge including key processes.
- Ability to build good people relationships both internally and externally and lead the team to achieve business outcomes.
