- Are you ready to take on an exciting role in contract management and administration? Leonardo Helicopters is seeking a talented Contracts Officer to join our team. As a Contracts Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with contractual provisions, minimize risk, and maximize benefits for the company. - Contract Management: Under the guidance of your manager, effectively manage and administer nominated contracts and agreements. This includes monitoring key obligations, ensuring commercial aspects are executed, reporting to customers, maintaining contract records, and proactively resolving issues.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to support the achievement of both company objectives and customer contractual requirements.
- Commercial Advice: Provide timely and adequate commercial advice to members of the organization as requested.
- Negotiation: Negotiate amendments to contracts and agreements within defined limits, ensuring risk mitigation and adherence to contractual terms.

- Effective Communication: Ability to exchange information transparently and engage in constructive discussions with stakeholders, including customers.
- Contract Expertise: Good working knowledge of key contract terms, the ability to read and understand contracts, and familiarity with commercial and negotiation strategies.
- Business Acumen: Familiarity with the UK Business Management Business Acquisition Process, including the role of the "Commercial Manager" in bid preparation and development.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to peers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Problem-Solving: Capability to prioritize work, develop solutions, and implement them effectively, accurately, and professionally.
- Goal-Oriented: Understanding of personal and stakeholder goals and perspectives to ensure alignment and success.
