Overview:
We are looking to recruit an experienced HCA and you will need to be skilled in or motivated to learn wound care including leg ulcer management, venepuncture, vaccination, ECGs. The successful applicant needs excellent communications and strong computer skills; be able to work within a friendly supportive team, use their own initiative and multitask within a busy healthcare environment whilst maintaining a good sense of humour

**Duties**:

- Venepuncture
- Vaccinations
- ECGs
- Health checks for patients
- Follow care plans and ensure individual needs are met
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Document patient information accurately and timely using IT systems

**Skills**:

- Experience working as a Health Care Assistant in a previous role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
