Join our award-winning charity team as our new Wild in Art Project Coordinator.

The Cheltenham & Gloucester Hospitals Charity supports the Trust’s hospitals by raising, managing and distributing funds on behalf of Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Wild in Art Project Coordinator will lead the delivery of the charity's first Wild in Arts Trail in support of the work of the charity, including the launch of our largest-ever fundraising appeal in the autumn of 2024 with the trail taking place in the summer of 2025.

As Wild in Art Project Coordinator, you will work with the Head of Income Generation, other charity colleagues a range of strategic and operational partners, including suppliers, corporate sponsors, artists, schools, community groups, and local authority partners, to support the delivery of the Wild in Art trail in 2025.

Key Dimensions

As project coordinator, you will work with the Head of Income Generation, other charity colleagues a range of strategic and operational partners, including suppliers, corporate sponsors, artists, schools, community groups, and local authority partners, to support the delivery of the Wild in Art trail in 2025.

**The post holder will**:

- Manage a complex and multifaceted event programme, developing and facilitating cultural and community engagement across the event period
- Provide a hands-on practical approach to managing the project, from its creative initiation through corporate engagement, event planning, delivery, and wrap up
- Procure, commission, and manage a range of suppliers in the planning and delivery of the trail, including event planning, installation of sculptures, digital asset development, and auction.
- Seek to maximise the Charity’s investment in the programme by working with the Charity’s fundraising team to identify fundraising and engagement opportunities and developing a clear plan to realise benefits
- Create relevant project management framework and tools, maintaining oversight of the project budget in accordance with the Charity’s financial regulations and providing progress reports for key stakeholders.

Key Results Areas
- Work closely with the Head of Income Generation and the Communications Officer to develop integrated communications and influence workplans for the art trial programme
- Maintain oversight of all major aspects of the project through careful planning and collaborative working across teams.
- Track and record progress, outcomes and impact and prepare reports for internal and external audiences. Audiences would involve large groups of corporates, artists, schools etc.
- Support senior management team in pipeline development, project tracking, outcomes, and impact, and prepare reports for internal and external audiences
- Ensure strong focus on budget management, tracking expenditure and income and preparing reports for the senior management team
- Work with the wider charity team and Head of Income Generation to plan and execute the events agenda in support of the art trail, including all aspects of administration, booking, and coordination, ultimately delivering an engaging events programme for corporate sponsors, partners, schools, and artists in support of the trail
- Negotiate and effectively manage relationships with the venue and suppliers
- Work with the Charity and Wild in Art team to outline KPIs and to evaluate the project accordingly
- Support the wider charity team to recruit, manage, coordinate, and oversee event volunteers as required, providing training and developing guidance and procedures around the event
- Working with businesses, sponsors, and the local authority, oversee the installation and maintenance of the trail sculptures, ensuring that they remain in excellent condition for the duration of the event.
