**What you'll be doing**:
We're currently recruiting an Waste Management Supervisor on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week.

To enhance the customer experience by effectively carrying out a range of waste management duties in accordance with the client service level agreement and company standards & procedures.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
To promote a safety culture that operates in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures at all times

To ensure the delivery and quality of the WM operation is in accordance with the client service level agreement and company procedures

To ensure the Compass policies, procedures and controlled documents are up to date and implemented correctly in your area including HSE, See Care Share and Waste service procedures

To ensure the right number of people are trained to the right skill level to deliver the required WM services

To manage any third-party suppliers or contractors to ensure they meet or exceed the agreed service level agreements e.g. waste

Take overall responsibility for the WM service delivery on all the sites that are assigned to your area of responsibility. This may include multiple large units, remote satellite sites and minor units

To ensure the WM operation continually improves in all areas of the operation - Quality, Cost, Delivery & Safety

To liaise with the client as appropriate seeking opportunities to improve the WM service delivery and enhance the reputation of ESS

To work flexibly and attend off site meetings and training courses as required

To comply with any reasonable requests made by your line manager

Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment

Good communication skills in order to be able to liaise with a wide range of team members and customers within your work environment

Able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulation laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements, with regard to uniform, personal hygiene, health and safety

Customer service focused

Team player and can-do attitude

Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene

Self-motivated and able to use own initiative

Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
