Data Analyst/ MI Analyst

Hybrid - Occasional travel to Manchester

Working in our Data, Research and Insight Hub you will provide high quality, timely and accurate data and analysis to inform policy, process and operational improvements both within the clients and for a variety of key stakeholders across the UK. Your workwill contribute toward the clients aims to support and develop a more diverse and inclusive workforce.

You will work closely with our experienced team of data analysts, statistical experts, researchers, policy experts and report writers to ensure the information we produce is relevant, robust, and accurate. The work you produce will help the client to effectivelyquality assure registration, revalidation and fitness to practise processes in the UK, and ensure a fair and inclusive experience for practitioners and patients.

**Main Responsibilities**

1 To collect, quality assure and clean relevant datasets.

2 To interrogate quantitative and qualitative information to identify risk, issues and new insights, helping to inform managerial decisions.

3 To work with a diverse range of colleagues from different backgrounds to plan and deliver well-documented projects, whose objectives may include collection of new data sets, new analysis or interrogation of data and new ways of presenting data.

4 Work with internal and external customers to identify their long-term information requirements and develop the appropriate reporting solutions and provide accurate, timely, insightful, and informed reports.

5 To assist with the production of regular operational, performance and exception management reports.

6 To contribute toward the client's vision of being a fair and inclusive regulator.

7 To produce high-quality professional reports, visualisations and dashboards, taking account of the customer’s needs and the user experience. This includes a range of products from basic data tables in Excel to sophisticated data visualisations, using softwaresuch as Power BI.

8 To build strong, effective relationships both with internal colleagues in your immediate team and across the client, and with external organisations.

9 Produce ad hoc reports and data for internal and external stakeholders, including national press, FOI requests, reference groups, change management projects, and senior management.

10 Carry out rigorous peer review of reports produced by team members.

11 To maintain and improve data quality, processes for data storage and retrieval and adhere at all times to information governance and data protection policies
