**Warehousing/Stores Supervisor**

We are looking for an organised Warehouse/Stores Supervisor to manage the receipt and storage of stock for production in our manufacturing facility. The position will be “hands on” with day to day activities as well as being responsible to oversee, mentor and evaluate two members of staff in the Team.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- The day-to-day responsibilities will be to supervise a small stores team and ensure the smooth running of the stores, goods in and stock flow.
- Ensure the Stores operation runs efficiently and effectively, including the mentoring and developing of the team.
- Looking at best practice and recommending/ implementing changes where required
- Factory Floor Stock Takes
- Responsible for Racking Layout, Design, Stock Flow and Adapting the Storage Solutions to the Changing Needs of the Business.
- Overseeing receiving, warehouse and line-side replenishment
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and the safety of staff.
- Motivating and disciplining staff.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintaining awareness and knowledge
- Assisting with deliveries where required.

**Key Skills/Experience**
- 2+ years of warehouse & stock management experience as Stores Supervisor/ Stores Lead / Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Manager or similar job titles
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
- Experience of Managing Physical Stores/Stock Layouts
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
- Valid drivers license
- Fork lift truck licence
- Proficient computer skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
- New Product Introduction Location & Storage implementation

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
