Stores/warehouse Supervisor

**POSITION**:
Warehousing/Stores Supervisor

We are looking for an organised warehouse supervisor to supervise the receipt and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The warehouse supervisor will be “hands on” with day to day activities and oversee, train and evaluate two members of staff in the Team.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Overseeing receiving, warehouse and line-side replenishment
- Implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Ensuring the safety of staff.
- Motivating and disciplining staff.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintaining awareness and knowledge
- Assisting with deliveries where required.
- Play an active role in end of year stock Take.
- Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment.

**Key Skills/Experience**
- **Essential**_
- 5+ years of warehouse/stores supervisory/management experience
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
- Valid drivers license
- Fork lift truck licence
- Proficient computer skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
- NPI parts introduction / implementation

**Salary**: From £30,000.00 per year
