We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Intern to join UKGBC’s Insights and Innovation Team. You will be sourcing and showcasing innovative solutions that address common sustainability challenges across the built environment, identifying leading case studies from UKGBC members, and supporting UGKBC’s work enhancing collaboration between start-ups and corporates.

To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about sustainability, have strong independent research and administration skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy working environment. We hope that interns gain as much from the experience as UKGBC. Interns at UKGBC must be over 18 and legally allowed to work full-time. For this role, applicants must either be taking a year out from full time study (Diploma, Degree, Masters, PhD etc) or must be within 2 years of graduation.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Research and administration (c. 90% of the time)**
- Conduct desktop research, analyse findings, and draft written outputs supporting UKGBC’s Solutions Library, innovation challenges, and work with innovative start-ups.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as setting up meetings, drafting agendas and slides, recording stakeholder engagement, preparing website content. This will require using Outlook, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordPress.
- Assist in running meetings, roundtables, workshops and other UKGBC events.

- Take a pro-active approach to your on-going learning and development.
- Take part in regular meetings related to UKGBC operations and workstreams.
- Champion the organisational culture by adopting a solutions-driven, positive, and efficient attitude.
