Hendy Group are looking for an additional field-based IVECO Truck (Heavy Vehicle) Sales Advisor to join our high achieving team in Eastleigh. In this role you will be joining one of the most successful and reputable in the retail automotive industry. **The Opportunity**

In this role, you will:

- Actively prospect for new business, whilst developing business and maintaining commercial relationships with existing customers.
- Plan a work schedule to identify potential customers and then qualify them.
- Work a sales territory where you will find leads with the freedom to manage your own diary.
- Help customers with demonstrations and ensure the customer has a licence to allow them to drive the vehicle.
- Identify vehicles required and obtain an order including the agreed delivery date and sell finance and extended warranties.

**About You**:

- A proven sales professional with at least 2 years of commercial heavy vehicle sales industry experience.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and build relationships in all situations.
- Experience in working a patch/sales territory (essential).
- Well organised with great time management skills.
- Resilience with the ability to work well under pressure and to targets.
- Ability to influence and negotiate in a professional manner.
- Passion for service excellence and an ability to continuously delight customers.
- An HGV Licence is desirable, but is not essential.
