**So, what will you be doing?**
As part of your responsibilities, you will oversee and provide updates on the financial status of contracts that have been secured. Your goal will be to maximize profit margins and ensure timely payment delivery. You will have commercial responsibility for managing several active contracts. Additionally, you will:

- Adhere to a project plan, responding effectively to the needs of the business and of our clients;
- Negotiate rates with external subcontractors;
- Prepare and submit valuations, variations and claims
- Produce monthly reports on team performance and ensuring levels are within any agreed KPIs;
- Attend internal and external meetings as a representative of the Commercial team.
- Liaising with operational colleagues, to ensure accuracy and completeness of work orders.

As a manager, your role includes developing the Commercial Coordinators using the business' performance management framework (MBF) and providing technical and commercial expertise/support.

**The Person**:

- A focus on customer service, understanding the customer's impact within the business, alongside an ability to build long-lasting relationships;
- The ability to read and understand programmes to interpret into an accurate forecast.
- The ability to critically analyse and evaluate with strong attention to detail.
- A proven strong negotiating and interactive style.
- Ability to work under pressure within a deadline-driven environment.
- A supportive and learning approach towards people development.
