**Responsibilities of an Incident Response Leader**:

- Actively lead remediation activities for a variety of clients whilst coordinating with wider teams within the organisation
- Mature client’s incident response containment plans and advise them on their remediation strategies employed
- Actively working across the full lifecycle of security incidents to help them respond and recover from incidents
- Gathering intelligence on threat actors to understand techniques used to compromise organisations
- Assist with the professional development of junior members within the Incident Response team to develop the organisational capabilities
- Providing verbal updates or written reports to internal/external stakeholders with non-technical backgrounds
**Requirements of an Incident Response Leader**:

- 7+ years’ experience working within Incident Response
- Previously experience working as case lead within incident response for 1 year
- Previous experience working within a consultancy/MDR/MSP/MSSP
- Relevant industry certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, EnCE, CFSR, CISSP, GREM, CCNA, MCFE, Network+ and Security+ are highly desirable
