The team currently advises investors, lenders, commercial and residential developers, high-profile entrepreneurs and estate owners across a range of sectors with the common theme of providing an extremely proactive and highly commercial service. The role involvesan exciting variety of work including acting on behalf of utilities and telecoms, farmers and landed estates and mines and minerals matters.
Duties will include but not be limited to:

- To contribute to business planning and the strategic direction of the Rural Sector and take a lead in that respect for the non-contentious team
- Provision of excellent client service
- To develop relationships with clients
- Liaison with and attendance on clients
- To provide support and supervision to other team members and be senior figure in their development
- Flexibly assisting other members of the team and the organisation
- Understanding and contributing to the team's objectives
- To develop knowledge and broaden experience
- Demonstrate the experience and knowledge to deliver good quality legal advice Promote the values of the firm both internally and externally
- A close working relationship with the tax planning team in our Private Client Department and Property Litigators will form a key part of the role
Essential skills:

- Experience of handling a busy caseload with mínimal supervision
- 7 Year PQE of advising and representing clients on a range of range of rural land ownership and agricultural property matters including working knowledge of AHA's and FBTs, secured lending, farm partnerships and succession rights and profits a prendre
- Possess and eye for detail and work accurately under pressure
- Excellent IT skills
- Good client management skills
- Able to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge of SOS case management software is an advantage as is experience of renewable energy, and equestrian legal related matters
