**Estates & Facilities Lead wanted for an immediate start
**Location: Bristol**

**Length: 6 months, temporary ongoing**

**Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon - Fri**
- Main responsibilities of the role_
- Act as the principal advisor to the organisation on all aspects of estate management
- Manage facilities and contracts in two office bases, and enable the close down of the Bristol office by the end of September 2023
- Lead the organisation on the new office development in central Bristol, ensuring that our requirements are catered for in the new joint access building
- Be responsible for the management of estates and facilities across both South West sites during the transition period during a major organisational change
- Act as the lead in ensuring that the organisations accommodation and facilities needs are met in the current planned move to share accommodation at a new base in Bristol city centre
- Be part of the working group overseeing the bringing together of all Arms Length Bodies in the Bristol area into one office base
- Contract manage and liaise with suppliers; providing advice and guidance across the organisation relating to the provision of Facilities Management
- Ensure alignment with relevant guidance for public sector bodies and health and safety legislation, as well as delivering maximum cost-benefit
- Lead and oversee commercial negotiations with landlords and property agents ensuring best value for money against competitive market rates
- Essential requirements_
- Significant experience managing estates and facilities contracts and services
- Demonstrable experience in a role involving estates and facilities contract negotiation and review at senior-level
- Ability to lead facilities projects such as office moves and refurbishments
