**Mental Health Support Worker**
Qualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking to take on an individual who is passionate about Mental Health and who has had previous experience supporting children or adults with Mental Health Needs, who can join them as a Mental HealthSupport Worker. For this role you will need to provide support on an educational and emotional basis. You will be required to work with students on a 1:1 basis to found out what they are struggling with inside and outside of school and how to manage theirfeelings by teaching them different ways that they can manage their mental health. When you are not working with the students on a 1:1 basis, you will be in the classroom supporting the teacher during their lessons and managing behaviour when needed. The idealMental Health Support Worker for this role must have had previous experience in a similar setting and be able to build a strong rapport.
**SEMH School**
This SEMH School is located in the London borough of Bexley and caters for students aged between 5-16 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. They currently have 170 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in May 2019, they were reviewedas 'Good' in all areas.
