With continued sustainable growth, we are currently recruiting for an **Electrical Designer & Supervisor **to be based out of our Head Office in Staverton, Cheltenham.

**Electrical Designer & Supervisor - The Role**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Support all electrical design work from inception through to installation
- Undertake electrical designs including distribution board schedules, loading assessments & cable calculations
- Close liaison with the pre-construction and operations team
- Undertake surveys of existing and new proposed sites
- Interpret client specifications, making appropriate design changes and providing design advise
- Ensure designs are completed on time and in line with design deadlines
- Attend internal and external design reviews, both in the office and onsite
- Offer internal technical electrical support to office staff and site-based teams
- Visit operational sites to inspect quality of electrical installations
- Sign off final test and inspection certification

**A Valid, full driving license is a requirement for this role.**

**Skills and experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years electrical design experience and competency
- Previous experience and use of design software such as: _MEP Worx / Amtech / Cymap_ _or similar_
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation OR equivalent experience / qualifications
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent
- IT Skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and NICEIC Portal.
- Understand the Electricity at Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671
- Understand the inspection, testing, verification, certification and reporting procedures for electrical work undertaken
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Excellent verbal and written skills
