We are currently recruiting for **Plant Administrator** to join our team based in Orsett.
The Plant Administrator is responsible for liaising with project sites to maintain a high level of accuracy in record keeping for all plant hired equipment both internal and external. Providing an efficient, effective administrative service to the plant hire function and both its internal and external customers.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Liaising with project sites to maintain a high level of accuracy of records for all plant hired equipment, both internal and external.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the database with ‘Off Hired’ dates and references provided by the project sites and suppliers for external plant hire.
- Accurately maintaining the database to reflect plant material at all project sites including head office by recording movements both to and from project sites.
- Resolving queries with project sites, procurement and accounts payable teams.
- Maintaining the in-house catalogue of available plant.
- Preparing reports as required for Senior Management teams.
- Delivering on ad-hoc requests, as directed by the Procurement Manager.
**Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
Essential
- Experience of working in an administrative role
- Experience of maintaining databases
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Strong and confident communicator with ability to build effective relationships at all levels and with remote teams
- High levels of data accuracy and attention to detail
- Good Excel skills
- Role model the Joseph Gallagher group’s behaviours and embed safety culture
Desirable
- Knowledge and/or experience of working in a Plant hire business
Experience of working in an administrative role within a buying or procurement function or similar
