Control Centre Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- **Monitoring and Surveillance**:

- Operate and monitor control center systems to ensure continuous surveillance.
- Utilize CCTV, alarms, and other technologies to identify and respond to security incidents.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to emergency situations and incidents.
- Follow established protocols for emergency procedures and coordinate with relevant authorities.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain clear and concise communication via radio, phone, and intercom systems.
- Relay critical information to appropriate personnel during incidents or emergencies.
- **Data Entry and Documentation**:

- Accurately record details of incidents, actions taken, and communication logs.
- Input data into control center systems and databases.
- **Access Control**:

- Manage access control systems to authorize entry and exit.
- Monitor and control access points to secure areas.
- **Equipment Operation**:

- Operate and troubleshoot control center equipment, including computers and communication devices.
- Report technical issues promptly for resolution.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with security personnel, emergency services, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support and guidance to on-site security teams.
- **Incident Analysis**:

- Conduct preliminary analysis of incidents and report findings to supervisors.
- Assist in reviewing footage and information for investigative purposes.
- **Alarm Response**:

- Respond to alarms and alerts, verifying and taking appropriate action.
- Notify relevant parties of alarm activations.

**Requirements**:

- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Technology Proficiency**: Comfortable using control center systems, CCTV, and communication devices.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous in monitoring and documenting incidents.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with various stakeholders.
- **Adaptability**: Able to adapt to changing situations and emergency scenarios.
- **Shift Work**: Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- **Crisis Management**: Knowledge of crisis management and emergency response procedures.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Previous Experience**: Prior experience in a control center or security-related role.
- **First Aid/CPR Certification**: Basic first aid and CPR certification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £12.38-£16.09 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
