Pre Lit Lvi Legal Advisor

**Job Purpose**
Dealing with all aspects of pre litigation personal injury claims involving allegations of Fraud and/or Low Velocity Impact (LVI). Dealing with any personal injury claims involving Road Traffic Accidents or any files of a technical nature which you may from time to time be asked to advise on, handle or progress.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Progressing pre litigation claims in a timely manner
- Obtaining and collating medical records and preparing a chronology of pre accident medical history
- Obtaining and reviewing medical reports
- Obtaining insurance outlay/repair documentation
- Prioritising urgent schedule entries and dealing with remainder of daily tasks on To Do list
- Instructing Counsel to attend conferences
- Carrying out and completing risk assessments and prospects reports
- Ensuring clients are kept informed and up to date on a regular basis throughout the life of the claim
- Liaising with clients, third party insurers as and when necessary to progress the case in a timely and efficient manner
- Speaking to and updating referrers as often as possible to ensure a consistency of service and to ensure referrer’s loyalty to the Firm
- Ensuring that any BTE and/or RTA insurer is kept updated and fully informed as to the progress of any claims
**Experience and Knowledge**
- Have a basic knowledge of RTA file handling (knowledge or experience of cases involving allegations of Fraud/LVI is not essential )
- To have a working knowledge relevant case law and/or legislation
- An ability to work in an organised manner
- Excellent client care and communication skills
