**Opportunity at RRG Toyota Altrincham - Workshop Controller**

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our team.

About the role: You will be responsible for co-ordinating all vehicle repairs from new arrivals & preparation, to aftersales servicing & warranty repairs in a busy workshop of technicians. You will need to be able to adapt quickly, prioritise and work under your own initiative, but within a close-knit team in a fast paced environment.

Day to day duties: Arranging inspection on newly arrived stock, ensuring vehicles are inspected within set time frames. Escalating any concerns with stock to suppliers and negotiating repair or return. Ordering parts, managing stock and ensuring parts are returned in a timely manner. Arranging repairs to stock vehicles to maintain complete stock and support sales. Prioritising sold vehicles in the workshop. Co-ordinating aftersales bookings, ensuring customer cars are not kept on site and repairs are complete within a timely manner. Liaising with service reception team to effectively manage the workshop diary. Monitoring workshop efficiency and looking at ways to improve. Continually reviewing workshop processes and implementing improvements. Ensure workshop systems are accurate and up to date. Other ad-hoc duties as require.

What you will need: Full clean UK driving licence. Experience within a similar role focusing on both parts and workshop control. A commitment to exceptional customer service. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload. Self-motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative, but also as part of a team. Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy - experience with relevant dealer management systems is beneficial, but full training will be given.
