**TOOLMAKER**

**LOCATION**:Tamworth

**HOURS**:Continental days only, 42 hours per week

**RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS**:

- To be capable of using all Tool room machinery where required.
- To respond to Tooling related breakdowns as quickly and efficiently as possible
- To manufacture tooling and ancillary components etc either from engineering drawings or the copying of existing parts
- To perform tasks for the repair/modification of all production tooling including extrusion and mould tools
- To assist maintenance as and when required.
- To trouble shoot when responding to production problems and breakdowns
- To assist the Die and Calibrator cleaning operation when required
- To carry tasks out to high degree of workmanship in an environmentwhich strives for continuous improvement
- To keep the department clean and tidy at all times reporting any hazards to the Engineering Manager
- To be responsible for your own safety by performing tasks in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Company Health and Safety Rules and Working Practices.(Health and Safety Charter of Rules)
