**PERFORMING ARTS TEACHERS AND PRODUCERS WANTED**
Inspire Theatre Workshops provides innovative, exciting Performing Arts classes to children and young people. Passionate about Child Development and nurturing our students' confidence, our workshops are designed to boost social and performing skills through Drama, Dance, and Singing.
We are looking for energetic and committed workshop leaders for our after-school and weekend classes across Edinburgh and Fife for ages 4-7, 7-11 and 12-17. Are you a freelancer looking for a reliable income and to join a super fun, creative, and growing team?
**Teacher**
**Teacher key responsibilities**:
- Working alongside another experienced performing arts leader, you'll deliver exciting and engaging drama, dance and singing activities to boost students’ confidence and mental wellbeing
- You'll co-direct hilarious and original performances each term
- You'll teach song, dance and show materials in a high-energy, encouraging and inclusive manner
- You'll lead dynamic and fun physical and vocal warm-ups for each age group
- You'll learn & prepare class material ahead of time to achieve fast-paced and engaging sessions (all performance and weekly class materials provided for you)
- You'll adhere to Inspire’s values, policies and procedures to promote a healthy culture
- You will create a safe and welcoming learning environment for each student
**Teacher desired qualifications, experience, and traits. We want to hear from you if**:
- You hold a College or University qualification in the Performing Arts or similar
- You are highly-skilled in at least one performing arts discipline (singing / dancing / acting) and are confident and skilled in the rest
- You have experience of working with children and young people
- You care about the continual development of your students and yourself as a leader
- You are confident, fun and silly, creative and engaging, a quick-learner, energetic, hard-working, reliable, positive, eager to learn, open to feedback, and have great time-management skills

**Producer**
**Producer key responsibilities**:
Includes the responsibilities of the Teacher detailed above, with additional responsibilities detailed below.
- You'll liaise with parents before & after sessions to ensure regular and clear communication on their child’s progress in classes
- At the end of each term, you'll write positive and encouraging feedback for students
- You'll ensure clear and timely communication with parents, admin team and relevant Area Partner regarding all aspects of your Inspire school
- You'll encourage the growth and expansion of your Inspire School through regular parent contact, and promotion of Inspire referral policies and opportunities in the local community
- You'll be responsible for First Aid & completing a Risk Assessment during sessions to ensure a safe environment for all

- You possess a great command of the English language, writing in an easy-to-understand and smooth-flowing style for providing written feedback to parents
- You have a passion for Child Development

**Full Training Provided**
**Estimated Start Date: Monday 12th August **(with the potential for prior training & Summer holiday work)
