The Role:
It is an exciting time here at City Plumbing. We‘ve recently become a stand alone business with private-equity backing, commiting to improve the way we interact with our customers.

To do this, we’re looking to employ a number of Customer Service Advisors to work within our ever growing Customer Service team.

On a day to day basis you’ll be dealing with all aspects of customer contact into the business, including providing a first class after sales service to support our website and contract customers.

No two days will be the same, and our colleagues genuinely love to help our Customers with their enquiries.

This is a hybrid-based role. You’ll be working a mixture of home working and attending our newly refurbished office in Crick, Northamptonshire, on a rota basis (J18 of the M1).

Your hours of work will be 40 hours per week. This could be Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm or 7.30am to 5pm with a 30 or 60 minute unpaid lunch break. A member of the hiring team will talk you through the rota patterns available so you can decide whatworks best for you.

This means you could live in Brixworth, Broughton, Coventry, Crick, Daventry, Desborough, Hinckley, Kelmarsh, Kettering, Leicester, Long Buckby, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Northampton, Nuneaton, Rothwell, Rugby, Southam. You:

Required skills and competencies:

- Be profficient in basic IT in order to learn our computer systems and processes.
- Be competent in dealing with customers, and external suppliers and carriers.
- Have a good grasp of written English and a great, personable telephone manner.
- Have a positive, can do attitude, and enjoy working as part of a team
- Be able to have difficult conversations and use your complaint handling experience.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Building Merchants, Call Centre, Call Handler, Complaints Handler, Construction, Customer Relationship Advisor,Customer Service Advisor, Customer Service Assistant, Plumbing and Heating, Retail, Telesales.
