As a nursery practitioner for our local nursery schools, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5. This may include planning and delivering a range of age-appropriate activities, such as art, music, and outdoorplay, to help children learn and develop. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for the children in your care, and for working closely with parents and other members of the school community.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of early childhood development and the ability to plan and deliver engaging and educational activities. You should also be patient, empathetic, and able to work well as part of a team.A relevant qualification, such as a degree in early childhood education, is preferred but not always required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Encouraging children’s development through play and teaching
- Creating a secure environment using imagination to help children learn
- Working with parents to support their children
- Monitoring progress and planning educational activities and games
- Have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Have good knowledge of the 7 areas of development
- Hold Level 2 or 3 CACHE Childcare qualification
- Minimum of 1 year working within Early Years
- 40-45 hours full time
- £21,000-22,000 per annum or paid hourly if you are part time.
