**Main Purpose and Scope of Job**:

- To ensure optimum loading of the plant, that optimises available equipment,resource and capacity to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery in full.- To optimises available material resource and capacity to ensure contribution to customer satisfaction and on time delivery in full.- Procurement of raw materials and sub tier services in a timely manner to support and fulfil the order schedule in full.- Integral part of cross functional projects teams.- Take a lead in developing material planning through operations strategy bringing the functions in alignment through MRP development.**Statement of Accountabilities**:
1 Work alongside the Aerospace business team in the achievement of business objectives and KPI's.
2 Total ownership of the master production schedules and work orders on a daily basis to establish
priorities for on time deliveries for specific customer orders in accordance with AS9100, NADCAP
requirements.
3 Responsibility for scheduling and co-ordinating flow of materials within or between departments of
manufacturing to expedite production. Overall responsibility for the production plan.
4 Total ownership and responsibility for administering and maintaining the customer supplier portal.
5 Effective management of WIP, raw material Inventory, and Stock Control
6 Create workable production plans that are aligned to optimise available plant, resource and capacity.
7 To work with the Production team to plan and manage production to maximise capacity and to
improve cycle time and efficiencies. Identify potential bottle necks and constraints and plan work
streams accordingly
8 Processing customer orders and shipments according to the established master schedule. Processing
customer sales order contract reviews and sales order acknowledgements.
9 Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations. Issuing of
job cards in a timely manner to support seamless production activities required to meet customer on
time delivery.
10 Order materials and services from suppliers to fulfil customer orders and maintain production supply
activity whilst monitoring buffer stocks to agreed levels..
11 Process order confirmations from suppliers efficiently, liaising with other departments where
necessary.
12 Measuring and reporting supplier performance using KPI’s.
13 Support Production activities required to meet customer OTIF delivery
14 Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operation.
15 Effectively communicate informed risks within the business to key stakeholders.
16 Ensure inbound deliveries are goods receipted in a timely manner.
17 Assign commodity codes for overseas imported goods.
18 Ensure all documents relating to the supply chain process are retained and filed in accordance with
the business quality requirements.
19 Support material quality investigations and providing solutions to achieve 98% right first
time.
20 Take an active lead in the development, maintenance, and control of the MRP system.
